There are several different types of law degrees, and they include the following: Master's of Law; Master of Business Administration; Doctorate in Law; Doctorate in Business Administration; and Doctorate in Law.

To become a lawyer, you must complete the necessary courses to obtain your law degree and pass the Bar exam. The Bar exam is available at any number of colleges or universities and can take about two years to complete depending on the school. Once you have obtained your law degree, you can then apply to the bar to take the state exam to become a lawyer.

Lawyers have a very important job to do in our society, protecting both the rights of their clients as well as the rights of the citizens. For this reason, it is vital that you become educated and skilled in the field of law so that you will be able to provide the best possible defense to your client should the case ever reach the court.
